First communion is considered one of the most holy and significant ceremony in Roman Catholics. In this occasion, a person receive the sacrament of the Eucharist…..the blood and body of Christ. It is a desirable thing that everyone wants to experience. It brings us closer to God in fulfilling our mission as sons and daughters of the Divine Master.
The archangels of St. Michael’s College, the Grade 3 Our Lady of the Holy Rosary , Our Lady of Immaculate Conception and other selected students had their first communion last February 12, 2011 at Resurrection Church with Rev. Fr. Abet de Lara as the mass preside. There were forty-two (42) communicants who received the sacrament of blood and body of Christ with their proud parents, guardians and godparents. The administrators, faculty and staff were present headed by S. Ma. Amelia V. Sadaba, RVM and S. Ma. Ruth G. Rabang , RVM as they witness the solemnity of the occasion. The ever supportive advisers namely Mrs. Mayette D. Chan and Mrs. Irish Jane Lecciones together with Mrs. Guadalupe T. Galabin graced up the occasion. CONGRATULATIONS! to all the communicants and Parents…God Bless!
